A call for the government of Kenya, the regulator, and telecommunications companies to clarify who gave the orders for the Internet shutdown and whether there was any official documentation or directive.
We strongly condemn the government’s disruption of the internet in Kenya, which began on June 25, 2024, at approximately 4:25 p.m. The shutdown is still on. No service providers or authority has issued any statements on the resumption of normal Internet services.
Staying safe online is easy but you have to practice it daily. Learn from Junior on how to:
- Activate your SIM security
- How to secure your phone with a strong password.
- How not to share your private information with anyone.
