Kevin Love and DeMar DeRozan's words struck a chord with me, so I wrote about my own experience with depression and why what they said is so important.
If you’re from Pittsburgh and you HAVEN’T made a joke about the annual Kenny Chesney trash bonanza, I don’t trust you.
Hey

protest coverage because of a viral tweet she sent out poking fun at trash that's usually left at Kenny Chesney concerts
Impressive Bucks stat from TNT broadcast...
Highest point differential in East history
Bulls (95-96) +12.2
Bulls (96-97) +10.8
Bulls (91-92) +10.4
Celtics (07-08) +10.3
Bucks (18-19) +9.8
Jayson Tatum dunked on LeBron and then hit a 3 on the next possession to put the Celtics up 72-71 with 6:04 left.
After that point, it was all Cavs, and LeBron had the last laugh.
A few days ago, Gregg Popovich talked ago about still enjoying his job. Obviously made sense before, but a bit more weight to it given today's terrible news.

The focus is (understandably) on the foul call Baylor didn't get, but I'm still stunned Kim Mulkey watched UConn rattle off a 19-0 run before calling a timeout.
Jeremy Lamb with an insane buzzer-beater, but take a look at Kemba Walker on the last replay angle. He turns away with the ball in the air (I think out of frustration).
A little over a year ago, Steve Clifford had to stop coaching because of a serious health scare. Now he's (somehow) got the Magic in the playoffs.
Just a terrific story.
10-year-old me waiting for my sister to pick out some damn earrings at Limited Too and my mom warning me what will happen if I walk over to KB Toys by myself
This was my first full season as an NBA editor for SN, and I still don't know if I'm any good at it, but I'm glad I get to do it.
There are so many great people covering the league. It makes this whole thing a lot of fun.
Start of game: "OK, you got the white boy."
Exactly one 3-pointer later... (Not a hot streak, literally one shot)
"Yo, we can't leave JJ Redick open out there."
@TheWilderThings
Random child: "Hey mister, did ya hear the boys are back in town?"
Sam Elliott turns with a tight grin: "I don't believe those boys ever really left."
"I believe that was the correct call. Those handsome referees have done a terrific job tonight, and they should all be rewarded with raises." — Steve Javie
I just kept returning to the same thought yesterday. A father and daughter were traveling to a basketball game, doing something they loved together.
Gianna Bryant brought out the best in Kobe.
Shoutout to Brittney Griner and A'ja Wilson for dominating inside. Shoutout to Sue Bird and Diana Taurasi for being absolute legends. Shoutout to Dawn Staley for kicking ass at everything she does. This team rules.
It would be funnier if an NBA player went the other way and rattled off facts about opponents.
"Who? Terry Rozier? Out of Louisville? The 16th overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft? Born March 17, 1994? Oh yes, I know him."
Come to SN, become my friend, turn on me, plot against me, take my job, fight me in an ultimate battle, earn my respect, shake my hand, go back to your desk.
