Looking at Manhattan situation from a bigger scope, this is TERRIBLE timing for the MAAC itself, which is coming off an Elite 8 run and attention due to Pitino. Conf had great momentum heading into the season, now one of its favs is rock bottom and its preseason MVP is gone.
