On this day in 1820 the Indiana legislature adopted an act establishing a state seminary which would eventually become Indiana University. Construction of the original seminary buildings began in 1822 at what is now Seminary Park.
🚨 Beginning tomorrow, August 5, all IU students, faculty, staff, and visitors (regardless of vaccine status) will need to wear a mask indoors on all IU campuses.
This guidance is based on recommendations released by the CDC and local officials.
