Roger Corman was my very first boss, my lifetime mentor and my hero. Roger was one of the greatest visionaries in the history of cinema. I am absolutely devastated by his loss and send my love and deepest condolences to the Corman family.

The entire principle of this should be fought - an NDA to stay quiet about this serial monster with over 140 accusers, but I would be absolutely honored to pay this fine for you, McKayla.
It’s truly impossible to overstate the impact Bill had on the lives of everyone blessed enough to know him. He may be gone but he will never, ever be forgotten.

I realize that Arnold claims that OJ Simpson was cast as The Terminator before we cast him. That is 100% NOT TRUE. And I should know. Jim and I never ever considered OJ. Not even for a nanosecond.

Scott was one of the greats, both as an actor and a man. We in
#TheWalkingDeadFamily
are truly grief stricken. He lived life to the fullest with his true love, his wife Heavenly. He is now a shining star in heaven spreading kindness and light forever.

Scott will be remembered as a great actor and an even better person. The character he embodied on The Walking Dead, Hershel, lived at the emotional core of the show. Our hearts go out to his wife, family, friends and to the millions of fans who loved him.
The first film I produced wasn’t THE TERMINATOR, it was SMOKEY BITES THE DUST for Roger. It repurposed footage from previous car chase films that he’d made, and was directed by Corman regular, Chuck Griffith. I learned everything I know about producing from Roger.
His ability to get films made using the scraps of other tiny films was legendary! Night shoots on one film on the same set as another film shooting during the day! Writing scripts based on any old random assortment of what he had available! Just genius stuff.

Sen. Martha McSally, a Republican facing a difficult election race, lashed out when I asked if she would consider new evidence as part of the Senate trial. “You’re a liberal hack - I’m not talking to you. You’re a liberal hack.” She then walked into a hearing room.
So deeply sorry for your loss. I had the privilege of working with your father. His dedication to the craft of acting was unrivaled. I’ll treasure the memories of him reciting great poems, monologues/soliloquies when he wasn’t needed on set. A great actor, and a generous one.
With a heavy heart, I tell you that my father, Donald Sutherland, has passed away. I personally think one of the most important actors in the history of film. Never daunted by a role, good, bad or ugly. He loved what he did and did what he loved, and one can never ask for more
For those of you who aren’t aware, in addition to his many other talents,

When Jim and I pitched

to Fox, we expected more questions about how the water tentacle was going to be created (since at the time, the technology simply did not exist and we put blind faith in

We’re deeply saddened to learn about the passing of Lisa Williams, who was one of the most passionate people (and

The outpouring of love that’s coming with this news goes to show how much of an impact she had on

Hug your loved ones for me today. My dear Aunt Linda, who was a secretary to some of the greatest screenwriters ever to pen a script at MGM Studios during the Golden Age, and then a Script Supervisor on set, passed away yesterday. She was my inspiration.
And this is what I chose to wear on the very first day of filming on The Walking Dead. Clearly the

My only gripe with terminator was a deleted scene when the arm and chip was found should of been left in but it's still a masterpiece of storytelling and filmmaking even after 40 years

Makes me miss Bill Paxton even more…this was the first time I worked with him as an actor. Before that, we worked together when he was in the Art Department and I was an assistant production manager.
And that includes me! As the film’s Producer, Jim insisted that I know exactly how hard it was going to be to make

so I got

scuba certified. After failing two courses, I finally passed and have been an avid diver ever since!

turns 34 in a week on August 9th! To celebrate we‘re posting some of our favorite insider info. To kick things off, did you know that the cast & some of the crew became certified divers before filming started since 40% of the movie was filmed underwater?
I worked on ALLIGATOR. I was an AD on the 2nd Unit...and also drove the grip truck. I finally got to meet the late Robert Forster at the wrap party. He was an incredibly nice man and a truly great actor.
That was my first on set experience — as a PA. Roger wisely made me work my way up to producer over a number of films, even though I’d been an executive at his company. Office experience did not prepare me for the rigors and demands of production, especially on location.
I saw the film on opening day in Westwood. I was beyond excited, never dreaming that one day in the not-too-distant future, I would produce the sequel! Truly life-changing.

Working at New World Pictures for Roger, I helped create the marketing campaigns for some of their films. What an honor and a privilege it was to work for Roger. His was truly the best film school in the world.

It’s also thanks to him that foreign directors like Federico Fellini, Ingmar Bergman, François Truffaut, and Akira Kurosawa were able to be recognized in the US.
Modern American cinema begins with Roger Corman. Without him we would not have Coppola, Scorsese, Bogdanovich, Nicholson, Demme and countless others. My film school was a drive in theater in the 1970s and Roger Corman was the Dean.

I am absolutely thrilled to hear this! Our pre-release market research screening had one Universal's lowest scores ever. Turns out they recruited the audience promising a very scary film...so they didn't realize it was OK to laugh and have a good time!
So last night Harkins Theaters 'Tuesday Night Classic' series played 1990's Tremors on the silver screen.

An absolute MUST read NYT fact check of Kavanaughs testimony — which leaves little doubt he was being knowingly dishonest in his sworn testimony about his days as a young man:
And why isn’t anyone pointing out that as a registered Independent, he should run as one, rather than cherry pick when he wants to be considered a Democrat (only when it suits him)?
