Many of you have heard about the mass displacement of 50+ street vendors from the El Salvador Street Corridor. Street vendors are an integral part of LA, and micro businesses like vending are sometimes the only option for those lacking access/resources 🧵

BREAKING: Over 50 Street Vendors Removed From K-Town’s 'El Salvador Corridor' By Cedillo’s Office ~...

The forced removal of these street vendors is similar to the fate of Avenue 26's Night Market which is also in Cedillo's district. Vendors have called an emergency meeting today to organize.
