My wonderful Mum has been ill for a few weeks with this bloody virus, and was taken to hospital last week. Bizarre not to be able to see or talk to her, so A HUGE THANK YOU to all the wonderful NHS staff looking after her for us. Can’t wait until we’re Holidaying like this again

I’ve just had a Tube journey I won’t forget A man comes up to me at Leicester Square with his hand out. He’s clearly a bit tipsy but polite. Many ignore him - I am naturally cautious. But he quickly shows me his phone as he’s desperately looking at the map with a pin in it
