@dthorson I am struck by the preparation Derek and his family must have put into releasing this last video. A dying man had to prepare it, and to summon the strength to record this (one?) take. Someone had to add the date of his death, finish the edit, and click "upload". Grateful.

@dthorson I am deeply suspicious of the teachings of people who died of chronic disease, cancer, alcoholism etc. There is a link between the health of the bodymind and the health, depth of insight and maturity of the spiritual practice of that bodymind.

@dthorson For those still living, there is a gravitas to what words were chosen at this transition. Like still water, I feel Sure in my place between Ground and Sky. Like this awareness, I feel Sure in my place between Life and Death. But was I not both, in one?
