I found out on the way home today our team chaplain is fighting for his life in the hospital. He is battling COVID. He is a great man of God who has truly been instrumental in building our program. Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

It’s amazing how uneducated people are on the benefits of JUCO athletics. It offers the chance to develop further while playing the game you love. It also allows you to use that development to open your recruiting to more options! Make sure you get the facts before you knock it!

A lot of travel teams are finishing this weekend for the summer. I encourage all players whose families made sacrifices this summer to allow you to play that you are thankful. Do this by cutting the grass, doing the dishes etc. Do more than just say “Thank You” Show Appreciation!

For all the players who say they throw a sub 2.0 pop to second just remember that the absolute missile Maldanado just threw to second to get Jackie Bradley was a 1.97. Just keep that in mind when telling a coach what your pop time is. #foodforthrought #cannon #hegone

Don’t burn bridges. You never know when you might need that person again. Lying to coaches and not being honest is a great way to burn said bridge. Just some friendly advice you the players out there in the recruiting process. Honesty is still the best policy!
