2 days ago I gave a suggestion to , saying there should be a 'balance' feature. ie you can 'deposit' 2000 WOOL in one tx, to save gas, then use that WOOL at different times as you please. I'm pretty sure this is what we're seeing here.

What's the catch? There is luck involved. BUT don't be discouraged. Those that commit to Cave Game and play every day with good strategy will be rewarded - I'd say for 1 sheep, there is a 50-70% chance of finding a Gem over the course of the game (est 1-2 months).
