This thread is great. I also wanted to add that I think the extreme crunch aspect of MAPs is setting kids up to be perfectly exploitable cogs for the animation industry. If young animators are so willing to be overworked for free, what will happen when they enter the industry?

I never, ever see anyone talking about this book so I'm going to! You should check out The Wildings by Nilanjana Roy, it's about a colony of feral cats in Delhi who communicate via whisker-telepathy. The writing style is phenomenal and so are the illustrations.

I just managed to get my old iMac from the Bones Shatter days working again... I thought it was lost forever but I did some trickz and it lives again. All my 2000s art and downloaded YouTube videos, scrapped WOTF projects and storyboards... every frame of every AMV I ever made

an update to everyone who donated a few hours ago. vet told us it was lymphoma and organ failure and he wouldn't make it. diego was 17, he had a great life. we are so destroyed right now. despite him passing it was still a huge vet bill so thank you so much to all of you.
