1 Tragic re Houblon Des Obeaux @Sandownpark but cannot understand why when the situation was clear that the decision wasn’t taken to void the race far earlier, holding out one poxy flag in the gathering gloom at a point of the race when things were gathering momentum is not good

I think @BHAPressOffice have to take some credit for moving swiftly to put a plan in place to deal with the equine influenza outbreak, after all the stick they have taken recently plenty of it justifiably so this seems a positive step and hopefully will bring a quick resolution

I think @BHAPressOffice have handled everything admirably in spite of plenty of criticism however it might of made sense during last weeks enforced lay off to advise then that it was highly likely horses would need to have been vaccinated within the last 6 months to resume racing
