The "He Gets Us" ads are a litmus test for Christians. I've seen some on the right and the left express cynicism and even anger about the ads. If you saw the ads and thought "That's nice. I'm glad someone did that. I hope it makes a positive difference." Congrats. You're normal.

My dad was put on the HCQ treatment (along with a cocktail of other drugs including a steroid). His doctor had the same justifications as this doc. It’s not harmful and there’s a good chance it will help. He got very sick, but never was admitted into hospital. He’s now recovered.

Had a Kenyan student in class today ask for prayers for his home country. COVID is spreading aggressively there. We should remember that COVID is not declining everywhere like it is here. We must also think about how to get vaccines to places like Kenya.

My son asked me tonight if grandma and grandpa bought me Jordans in the 90’s. That’s adorable. After tithing, there were three financial commitments I remember as a kid: new cars are a scam, you don’t eat out when there’s “food at home,” only a fool buys 100 dollar tennis shoes.
