Jim Harbaugh said the job of a head coach on game day is to be the “guardian of victory.” Then he added this line:
“There’s no offense. There’s no defense. There’s a We-fense.”
Frank Ragnow admitted he was really hurting, but got back on the field because his parents taught him toughness.
“The pain… I’m not trying to sound like some brute, tough guy, but it’s more frustrating,” the Lions center said. “I just take a lot of pride in being out there.”
Jamaal Williams felt like the Lions were done with him.
"The offer they gave me, I feel like was very just disrespectful and just showing they really didn't want me to really be there," he said at his Saints press conference.
Dan Campbell was encouraged that Taylor Decker talked "man-to-man" to him about his deal.
"I remember what it was like as a player, and I was lied to at one point. I will never do that to a player. Even if that's gonna hurt a little bit, I want them to know the truth," he said.
