Not wanting to stigmatise a vulnerable minority is what is noble - that this motivation then served to facilitate terrible crimes is precisely what makes it a tragedy.

The arrested man was taken to an east London police station where he remains at this time.

I worked in a small dead-end shop for a month once, one of the first thing one of my almost 40-year old coworkers (who still lived with his parents) said to me was "I basically fucked my life up"
For a lot of young professionals, moving to London will lower their standard of living and is bad for long term accumulation of wealth because they explicitly and implicitly subsidise so many economically inactive and unproductive people in central London
The implicit acknowledgement here is that most Muslim households have another country they call home; somewhere else they can go and live their lives. Britain is merely "the country in which we were born", not "our home".
Conversations happening in Muslim households throughout UK about leaving Britain. Not because we don't love the country in which we were born, educated and raising our children. But because of the utter contempt shown by the political classes and mainstream media, regarding the
Stuffed with false axiomatic platitudes about the benefits of diversity or how every problem is downstream of austerity while being a net beneficiary of poor policy. Evidence to the contrary of their worldview could only come from a Bot or be a mundane manipulation of the data.
Makes me sick that young men come here from a different country, likely with no family here, no money, few employable skills and then aren't given our scarce resources in exchange for nothing, fascism in action
Sudanese refugee Fares Alsaygh, 20, slept in a park in Peckham, south London, for up to three weeks after he was evicted from his hotel by the Home Office.
mass immigration is the quantitative easing of social policy; a policy with a shelf life of about 3 decades that is more likely to destroy the entire system than fix the "problem" it was designed for
This country seems run by people like James O'Brien, they despise success, competence and sincerity. They want nothing more than a race to the bottom and likely take a sense of satisfaction at the decline of the country. They hate themselves and this how they express it.
In the month following, whenever we worked together, he would detail his most significant fuckups and causes of his current circumstances. Was probably very illuminating for both of us. I wonder what he's up to these days.
Makes me sick that anyone other than a 50 year old with 2 degrees in chemical engineering and 30 years experience at Shell is in charge of UK energy policy
Never let anyone tell you the UK isn’t a world leader in renewable energy.
In Q1 of this year 48% of our power came from renewables, up from just 7% in 2010, with the five largest offshore wind farms in the world on our doorstep.

Most of Britain's welfare policies were introduced decades ago to benefit impoverished people. In the decades since it has grown into a lovecraftian monster which actively works against the interests of anyone who isn't a net drain on the country.

Anyone who genuinely thinks of Britain as their home would never agree to stop seeing it as a nation and instead think of it as a "community of citizens", disgusting
My own proposal: we could see modern Britain as a community of citizens, aspiring to a shared ideal of fair chances + equal status for citizens of every colour and creed. Lets respect our diversity and work on what we share in common to live well together in a common home

Britain is the tale of the boiling frog except everyone knows what's happening, and when someone mentions it a broadcaster insidiously mocks them; "I think I would notice if the water was getting hotter mate, sorry I've had enough of these lunatics, next caller"
What really strikes me about this video is how "quiet" it seems. In modern Britain I don't care what city you're in or at what time of day, it's literally impossible to see streets this quiet
The interesting thing about being on the side of pro-immigration and open-borders politics is that you can completely deny material reality and still be given a platform on primetime tv
David Cameron spoke against multiculturalism in 2011. Is Braverman saying that the UK policy under the Conservatives remained multiculturalist for another decade, when Prime Ministers and Home Secretaries and Community Secretaries were speaking against it persistently?
Suella's biggest faux pas was talking like something could be done about the current problems. Modern politicians swear an oath like a planet earth film crew; you shall do nothing which could result in any form of intervention

I simply don't get it. What is there to celebrate? Why is this a good thing? Can he specifically say why a city in England becoming majority non-English is a good thing? Why does it deserves praise? Why is it progress?
A pretty simple cautionary tale that in the long run most interventionist government policies will get bastardised. One minute it's a bit of help for the working class. 70 years later it's a double digit % of GDP for Bomalians.
This email to parents, from the Head of London’s Jewish Free School - especially the bit about kids not having to wear the blazer, so as not to be attacked or suffer hate on the streets because it might mark them out as going to a Jewish school - breaks my heart.
So blackpilling when you actually run the numbers on acquiring good wealth at a reasonable age (<40) in the UK. If you're starting from 0, unless you can get your salary up to like 200k+, or achieve an incredible rate of return on personal accounts it's virtually impossible
Britain takes many important things completely for granted. Americans still work in coal mines and inherently understand the value of energy. For most Britons energy comes from the plug socket and might have something to do with the North Sea.

My parents left London when I was young pretty much for this exact reason. Couldn't afford to send us to private schools and also didn't want to risk an inner-city school experience.

I can't imagine being this deluded. Mass immigration is the *only* policy that's caused a middle east border war to become a societal problem in this country, not some centre-right column in the telegraph and youth club funding cuts. Get a grip.

Does it ever cross your mind that the Tories have caused all the hatred and discontent. Years of corruption, of culture wars, of destruction, of enriching the rich and driving the poorest from poverty to destitution. Your collective arrogance & entitlement is horrific. On you.
Asylum hotels need to be emptied but if the government is not willing to physically put people back on planes and boats, the "solution" could end up being much much worse
There's a weird dynamic where to some minorities a white native is guilty even after proven innocent and to some white natives a minority is innocent even after proven guilty. Unfortunately the groups who best demonstrate this are criminals and judges, respectively.
The way they all follow the same script, whether it's a police commissioner or politician in Ireland, England, Belgium or Germany, hardly does anything to quell the global cabal theories
Irish Garda commissioner Drew Harris is condemning the "disgraceful scenes" in Dublin. He claims that a "hooligan faction driven by far right ideology" is behind the violence on the streets.
Based on shoplifting demographics data, we can estimate that the percentage of shoplifting cases that are "single mothers trying to feed their children" is easily less than 5%; it's probably much lower still.
If asylum hotels are emptied and the people aren't immediately given alternative (government funded) accommodation, what then? An extra 50k resentful homeless men between the ages of 16 and 30?

It's very easy to find statistics about the proportion of ethnic groups that get subsidised through social housing in London. Strange that the people who "prop up our economy" rely so heavily on subsidised housing.

You support unsustainable and inefficient policies that when taken to their logical conclusion never end up well. For what? You live in the same country. What will you say when the leopards inevitably eat your face?
Great thread with ideas that would a lot of good but at present even your most right-wing party wouldn't have the impetus to implement a fraction of these policies. Things would probably need to get worse before they could get better.
I don't think most people are aware of how possible it is to stop and reverse the current demographic changes occurring. A lot appear to have given up and accepted it as fate. There is, in fact, a multitude of policy changes that can and should be done:
In the past, people in Scotland and across the UK have opened our hearts and our homes.
Scotland is ready to play her part.
To be the first country in the UK to offer safety and sanctuary to the people of Gaza.
To treat the injured men, women and children, where we can.

If you want anything more than a very quaint town where nothing ever happens then London is still the best choice. It's unironically grim up north, and most provincial large towns across the country stink of urban decay and apathy.
