🏴 New stats reveal that Scotland's economy under the SNP is powering ahead of the UK's.
Scottish economy has grown in the latest recorded month (July), while the UK's stagnated - and that's excluding oil and gas revenues.
Labour still have time to admit they got it wrong and perform a U-turn on their dreadful Winter Fuel Payment cut.
As Sharon Graham, general secretary of the Unite union said, "It is wrong and it needs to be reversed."
NEW: Scots believe that becoming independent and joining the EU would be better for the country than remaining in the UK, a major new study has found.

“On September 18th 2014, we glimpsed what it was like to hold our destiny in our own hands.
“Countries that are independent have that opportunity every single day.”

Ten years ago, Better Together deceived people into voting No by promising a massive suite of new powers for the Scottish Parliament.
Most of them weren’t delivered.
Watch Kenny Gibson and
@AngusRobertson
dismantle the notion of ‘most powerful devolved parliament in the world’.
While Labour in Scotland MPs voted to cut winter fuel payments, yet again it’s the

MPs who are standing up for Scotlands pensioners. Change??? The only change is the colour of the rosette
“There is palpable anger from the public that the Labour Party is choosing to balance the books on the backs of the poorest members of society.
“George Osborne did it before - and Rachel Reeves is repeating the trick”

“Labour MPs must remember they were elected to serve Scotland, not Starmer.
“If they fail this test, thousands of Scottish families will pay the price as the Labour government slashes the incomes of pensioners and guts Scotland's budget."
@KirstySNP
"I urge you to do the right thing, protect Scottish pensioners and defend Scotland's budget by voting against Keir Starmer's winter fuel payment cuts tomorrow.”

Scottish Government has balanced its budget every year since coming to power in 2007. We do not have the same borrowing powers Westminster enjoys to smooth in year pressures or cuts arriving from Westminster. As
@wesstreeting
rightly said “all roads lead to Westminster”
During the election campaign, the SNP consistently warned about £18bn of Labour’s austerity plans which Starmer and Reeves denied.
Now it turns out it is even worse, at £22bn.
More cuts, more austerity, more broken promises while ordinary people are hurting.
