Having a good teacher upon the sunnah will most likely guarantee you a very good teaching of adab/akhlaq. I have not seen a scholar upon the sunnah water down adab and akhlaq. Infact, the Aalus-Sunnah scholars are the best in teaching and ensuring morals and character.
