15 years after, I’m happy to announce today, that President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the immediate release of N22.68 billion, being 50% of N45.3 billion total entitlements of the Ex-workers of Nigeria Airways Limited in Liquidation.
The federal government has been engaging critical stakeholders like traditional and religious leaders to advise their members on child spacing.

Today, we wrapped up the Annual International Monetary Fund and World Bank Group Meetings where I led the Nigerian delegation all through. Happy to report that our participation was fruitful and successful. We look forward to practical actions from the commitments made.
Since Nigeria is not indebted to the IMF, there is no outstanding debt obligation to be forgiven. Nigeria’s application for new IMF financing is under consideration and receiving attention. The new application is for financing under the Rapid Financing Initiative (RFI).

As you might be aware, the Ex-workers of Nigeria Airways Limited (in Liquidation) were not paid their retirement benefits for the past 15 years. Many ex-workers have been through untold hardship. This unfortunate situation cannot be allowed to continue under a responsible admin.
In a bid to diversify away from oil and increase government revenues, I met this evening with African Natural Resources and Mines Limited led by Mr. Raj Gupta who are investing $600m in an integrated iron ore mining, processing and steel production project in Kagarko LG, Kaduna.
During the Ministerial meeting at the coalition of Finance Ministers for Climate Action, I highlighted Nigeria’s commitment to advancing the

action agenda. This is in line with his excellency President
