School cancelation will be problematic and burdensome to thousands. Yet, it simply must be done. We, as state leaders, must work to immediately minimize the impact to children and working parents. In times like this we have to pull together.

A school superintendent said something profound in his address cancelling school for the next 3 weeks. He said: In the end, it will be impossible to know if we overreacted or did too much, but it will be QUITE apparent if we under reacted or did too little. Hear those words....

The suspect in the shooting death of a mother and two of her daughters has been identified as 37-year-old Gabriel Jordan. Authorities believe Jordan killed himself.
