Some of our Year 6 pupils wrote to the Queen in April, expressing both their best wishes for her birthday and their condolences on the death of her husband. They received this very thoughtful message back.
So today Y3 began trying to clear up their oil spills with various materials...it is so much harder than it looks. Imagine how hard it must be in a huge ocean.
Year 3 spent time making these beautiful poppies to display during our Remembrance Assembly. They are a thoughtful and fitting tribute.

We have a natural teacher in our midst! This year 2 pupil wrote and delivered an outstanding presentation on 'Hajj - the Islamic Pilgrimage to Mecca', to the whole of Year 6! She even took questions at the end. What a superstar! 💛🌟💙

We were so delighted to welcome Mrs Groves (and her daughter) into school to talk to us about eco homes and green energy. It was fascinating to hear about the wind turbines her company have built - one of them is taller than the London Eye!
