I would argue this scene gave evidence on how ridiculous comic accurate expectations are, people calling for 6foot plus Batman for example need to reassess their priorities, it’s not needed and is a form of body shaming in itself
On this day in 1938 the first superhero entered our atmosphere via the imaginations of Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. He gave us someone to believe in, not because of his great physical power, but because of his character and determination to do right no matter what. Happy
@BurgessBoston
That is not the point of this post at all TV to Movie is not the same as Comic to Movie, comic characters have certain parameters and sometimes that doesn’t translate well in live action so people should stop body shaming actors because they don’t fit in their mind canon
Cold take but him dying 2 movies in was genius and not terrible storytelling if you had a problem with it it’s because you didn’t understand he was coming back

What ? I’m not saying it’s unobtainable I’m saying if a good actor is 5’11 and gets cast as Batman he is gonna get shamed for his height because of “comic accuracy”
#SupermanLegacy
should 100% lean into the commentary aspect of current superhero movies and shows for the past few years we have had dark and gritty along with heroes not being heroes, it’s about time we got a boy scout again
I figured out why the new Superman image seems off. Because it's an effeminate pose.
It's not a good pose for a man that's supposed to be the strongest man in the universe. 🤨🤔
