Just had a life-coaching call. She told me that anxting over covid & climate was making me physically weak. If I did cheerful thinking instead, my body would be stronger, and I could fight off viruses better. So mitigation isn't necessary so long as you don't look up? 🤣

Was going to enjoy my post-hygienist breakfast. Before I went, used Dentyl CPC mouthwash and Nasofed AV nasal spray. When home, reused Dentyl. But due to gum ache and sensitivity am no longer hungry. Before I went, I had no pain whatsoever! 😬

@drclairetaylor Dr Clare, hope you are fully better.. excellent thread ❤️ But question on LFT: Is it common to have symptoms for a few days and still show negative to begin with? Does this mean that symptoms doesnt mean ur infectious? Or LFTs not reliable? Thanks!

BA5 has peaked in UK & hospitalisations dropping. But BQ1 & BQ1.1 on the rise. NHS already near breaking point, even with current warm weather, winter is still to hit. Masking & testing almost non-existent. WHO is anxious but not panicked. WHY NOT?? 1/3

The BBC soap 'Doctors' today featured someone who was covid cautious. Script just portrayed him as 'anxious', and behaving this way bc he was grieving! The doc he saw was very understanding & kind, but it never occurred to her to mask during the consultation! Awful messaging! 🤦‍♂️
