As VP Harris considers Gov. Shapiro and Gov. Walz, it’s worth noting that both prioritized & enacted universal free school meals (PA: b’fast despite R Senate; MN: b’fast & lunch w/ +1 D Senate). In Delaware, despite our near super-majorities, we were told we couldn’t afford it.

Quick @Tim_Walz story: Our family was with him at an event, when he noticed that our then 6-year looked a little bored. He remembers Alana’s name despite only meeting her briefly earlier & proceeds to skip w/ her back & forth across a pool like a big kid. Just to make her smile.

Thank you @DE_DOJ for this victory for voting rights. Now that the Supreme Court has ruled, let’s all urge House Rs to join with the Ds to pass SB 3 and enshrine the right to permanent absentee voting, early voting, and mail-in ballots in our Constitution.
