Today, the 109th Precinct, 109th Precinct Community Council, and

held their annual Whitestone Family Fun Day. So many people showed up to support this event. We thank all police officers and volunteers to help with this event.
Based on community complaints, the 109 Precinct & Sanitation Department conducted a joint vending inspection on Main Street, issuing several citations and confiscating illegal product.
109 Precinct DVO’s were out conducting an outreach during DV Awareness Month in Bowne Park in Flushing Queens, handing out pamphlets and spreading DV awareness to the community.

A complaint to your 109 NCOs about a derelict vehicle in Bay Terrace led to the recovery of a stolen vehicle that was being investigated by the Philadelphia Police Department
Preservation of life is our first duty, and that’s exactly what Officer Accordino did yesterday on Roosevelt Ave when he rendered aid to an incapacitated man by administering Narcan, reviving the individual and saving the man’s life!

Another illegal dirt bike removed from College Point & a stolen motorbike recovered in Flushing - the operator was arrested for GLA.
Remember your motorbike must be properly registered and operators must obey all traffic rules. Dirt bikes cannot be operated on NYC streets.
