@Jay_McGill94 @CindyFo74350514 They’ve romanticized the 60’s protests, and somehow they expect theirs will be the same. There is almost no comparison—the US isn’t in this war, men aren’t being drafted, and the protests aren’t a desperate last tool. It feels as much a fad as anything.

@kylebrussell Same here. And then when child went to a birthday party and a child who was there came down with measles, and all the unvaccinated kids and their siblings got measles, (not their parents, who had been vaccinated as babies) I thought… what a lesson. But it didn’t get learned.

@drvolts Democrats are earnestly doing the work. ALL the work. On the right, in the center where people need to believe they’re cooler than Democrats, on the fringe left ….. the criticism is a type of pose, a luxury those who aren’t working can indulge in. Yes, it makes me sick.
