personal anniversaries this summer:
26 yrs since my 1st pride & out as 'bi'
7 yrs since out as trans
5 yrs since start of hrt
4 yrs since ffs
2 weeks since gcs
there will likely be nothing more of this sort to add & i'm ok with that
i'm still recovering and not able to attend our pride weekend for the first time in almost a decade, so here are some shots from last year. happy pride! 🌈

it's been 8 yrs since similar rules went into effect in norway. the only result is that it is easier for trans people to change their gender marker so they don't have to out themselves everytime they show i.d. literally nothing else happened

that little pfp of his, have you seen the full image? it's him on horseback with a shield that has a ♀️ on it, honestly sees himself as a valiant knight for women and doesn't see the ironic misogyny in it
managed a little walk in the woods today, found a place to sit, turned off my music and just listened to the birds and the wind. of course i was high asf
i guess my ultimate take away is that when it comes to inclusiveness good intentions are not enough cus there's always someone show up who wants to exclude others
idk if this is a good thing but one result of my surgery is that i'm less body-conscious to such a degree that i walk around the house naked now and i'm annoyed that i have to wear clothes just because "people are visiting"
the organizers of these events go out of their way to communicate that they are trans/nb inclusive but when transphobia (inevitably) occurs they seem unsure how to handle it
