It took me a long and frustrating time to really start trust the market... Trust that the market: will give me all the oportunities I need every year to make good returns.... I used to feel like I needed to trade everything/anything that looked like/reminded my setups... I

Current Darvas stock list..... I put in a horisontal line at ATH so if I get the stock in my daily HTF scans during the week I quickly know it is a Darvas stock and it gives me some more conviction. Darvas criterias are timeless.... @PradeepBonde on Darvas:

It took me a long time to realise that no-trade-days also are productive days.... Being present during open market hours without forcing new trades builds patience and confidence....

Feels like a no-trade-day for me... Took me a long time to realise the value of sitting on my hands... My focus right now is on mint tea, grapefruit and just patiently stalking...

Still sitting on my hands... Watching old @Qullamaggie streams (and some guy fishing trout) instead of trading... I can wait for as long as it takes.... It is all about not making stupid mistakes.... My kind of sweet spot market will come around a few more times this

Thinking back... It amazes me how much time I used to spend looking at charts and how little time I used to spend on being mentally prepared.... It also amazes me how little time today I spend on looking at charts and how much time I spend on being mentally prepared....

Very few setups. Markets need more time. It may take months to climbe over MAs. I can sit in cash for as long as it takes. My style is seasonal and work good roughly 2 to 4 times per year. Will most likely take a walk & do sauna instead of trading..listening to Paul Desmond.

⚜️ Why is my portfolio always only green full with profitable positions? Because I never hold a red position overnight. If I buy a new stock it has until the close to prove itself. If it is green I keep it. If red I just close it before the end of day. Keep it simple.⚜️

Usually in a year I ONLY have 2-4 good runs where market is trending up above MA20 & larger breadth... This can be a VERY hard fact for traders to accept... Even harder to accept after a good run that easy money might NOT come back for weeks/months... Expectations

I have three alarms set on my phone mon-fri.... First alarm 8:00 am - Go through all my best notes, reminders, quotes, lessons that I have saved during all my years trading. It takes about 25-30 minutes. The aim is to condition myself to always be in the right state of mind.
