Look, a lot of folks who work on the game follow me, and you need to hear first that in almost every way #theDivision2 improves on the original. Visuals, world design, gunplay, gearing and loot are all big steps up. We REALLY need to talk about the UI though... it’s just not ok.

My best advice for those of you about to get #theDivision2 is to slow down and enjoy your first playthrough of the campaign. It’s dynamic and epic in a way I’ve never experienced before and you only get 1 first playthrough. WT5 isn’t even out yet.

The weapon modding screen needs to help you mod your weapons - showing all of the stats that are impacted by the mods you can select now that DPS is no longer a calculated value displayed at all times. An informed player can become an invested player.

Friday #Division2 thoughts: at WT6, I’d like to see the gear mod system symplified so slots are either system/ protocol OR offensive / defensive / utility. There are too many categories of mods and you cant manage them easily or dispose of them because they’re not rollable and

Baylor had one of the most dominant O and D line combos in all of football this year and every guy in those positions with a choice is choosing to come back to learn from these coaches for another year. We are still going to show up at like 17 in pre season polls. Ignore it.

Almost 5 years ago, I made a post on the Division subreddit - an application of sorts for the first ETF. It was full of math and references to games long past. It got me flown to Sweden to give live feedback to the dev team. It was an amazing experience.

Let's talk about the (false) narrative that only people who cheat in PVP should be punished. With a glitch bad enough that it allows people to gain the maximum amount of base player power (SHD level) and infinite gear via DPS / res bugs, other players ARE affected. Period.

Unpopular opinion: WT5 not being out has allowed people to learn how to build in the new systems- something that has its own skill gap- and it’ll be cool to see that play out when the raid drops rather than seeing everyone in a few cookie cutter builds.

Hi. Time to remind people and @PaulTassi again that @TheDivisionGame is an RPG with guns, not a shooter with some fun gear thrown in. As you shorten time to kill across a difficulty spectrum, you reduce the potential impact gear and progression systems can have.

This is almost definitely where you launch on off-map activity fwiw. -inside a social hub -highly detailed NPC with no pathing in a waiting stance -large space for players to move around while they prep / after activity -we know 2-3 activities take place outside the base map

Like the Division 1.3 days, I see a lot of people trying to solve for symptoms rather than root problems. IMHO, the entire process of how loot is generated and what determines good vs bad loot is out of whack. Currently, a great piece of loot doesn’t drop.

Division is a PVE game with an option to PVP. Skills, items and damage can be tuned separately if needed, and perfectly tuned pvp is both impossible to achieve and a boring goal. Stop losing your minds about pvp not being the main concern in every design decision.
