This is my friend Reggie Bibbs. Reggie is the kindest and most loving person I have ever met. His face is disfigured from a rare genetic condition called ‘Neurofibromatosis.’
After many years of never leaving his bedroom, out of shame and embarrassment, Reggie finally summoned
My caricature painting of Howard Stern. A few years ago I decided that I would start facing my fears. For instance, being interviewed by Howard Stern. It turned out to be such a great experience. I left the studio walking on air. Added bonus - find the name in Howard’s hair).
Phil Hartman and I being goofy for an SNL photo shoot. He was nicknamed "Glue" for his ability to hold the show together and help other cast members. So talented, steady and versatile - Sorely missed. What was your favorite Phil Hartman character?

My painting of CHRISTOPHER WALKEN. I first met him when he hosted SNL. I remember he loved garlic and I could always smell him coming. Haha! Saw him for the first time in the movie

Probably one of my favorite parody commercials I was in while a cast member on SNL. So subtly silly. ‘First Citiwide Change Bank’ was written by and stars Jim Downey, our head writer at the time.

My caricature painting of Jennifer Anniston. When I first moved to New York City to work on Saturday Night Live I discovered a great burger joint on the upper Westside called 'Jackson Hole.' I remember the hostess was cute. She eventually became famous!

My caricature painting of my friend and mentor Garry Shandling. We laughed hard together, we toured, we wrote together, played basketball and shopped together. Garry passed away unexpectedly 3/24/16 from a pulmonary embolism. I miss you my friend.

Carl, you were way beyond funny and kind and we were all so lucky to have you in our lives. You were my comedy role model and inspiration. You stayed engaged, you spoke your truth and you always stood up for justice. A life well lived! Rest In Peace, my friend. 🙏🏼💔

My caricature painting of my SNL boss, Lorne Michaels. I was a cast member for nine years and I will forever be grateful to Lorne for giving me one of the best opportunities of my career. Such a wild ride! Thank you, Lorne. (What? And this is how I repay you? 😂)

My painting of Chris Rock. I used to see him doing stand up in NYC clubs and then had the pleasure of working with him on SNL. I specifically remember his posters and books of Martin Luther King and Malcolm X in his office. So happy for his success!

new book, “It’s Garry Shandling’s Book” and I miss you, Garry!! RIP
First club comic I ever saw. It was at The Catch A Rising Star in NYC. (1976) He was the emcee that night and had complete control over the room. Needless to say, he made quite an impression on me. “Hey babe,” thanks for popping my comedy cherry. You will be missed.

Sketch I finished last night of Tom Petty. I remember he once came to watch one of our basketball games at Garry Shandling’s house. We were all hustling on the court while he relaxed on a nearby bench with his legs crossed, chain smoking. Nice guy. Really liked him.

Happy Birthday Robin Williams! This pic was taken backstage at Caesars Tahoe July 20, 2012. There was no one like Robin. So funny, inventive and quick. He would kill it to a packed room harder than anyone I’d ever seen. A true comedic genius! So missed.

My caricature painting of Dave Chappelle. He started stand up at the age of 16 (I think) in DC. In LA, over the years, we often worked at the same clubs. At the time, Dave was more of a stoner, lanky kid. Always funny on stage though.

Have you seen these? Both stolen - sentimental to me. Rolex I had given to my father before he died. Back engraved: "Popeye, love Gable." The Cartier was given to me by Lorne Michaels when I left SNL. Engraved

I did this beer commercial in 1991 based on my Mr. Subliminal character from Saturday Night Live. Does anyone know Mr Subliminal’s character’s name from the SNL original sketch?

I had just moved to California from Connecticut. I was 25. My plan was to pursue a career in stand up in LA but I got momentarily sidetracked with this job in North Park, San Diego at a Sears department store. I would love to see more pics! Thanks

My caricature painting of Jim Morrison. I was a fan of The Doors growing up. I visited Morrison’s grave once at Père Lachaise cemetery in Paris. It was covered in graffiti, cigarette butts and whiskey bottles left as a tribute by fans. 1943-1975

I once asked my friend Carrie Fisher to autograph this magazine for an auction. I later read what she wrote; "You're an a**hole! Leave me alone! Carrie Fisher" Hahah! I ended up keeping that auction item..., so yes, I guess I am an a**hole. Thank you Carrie. I miss you!🙏🏼
Retweeting this SNL cast photo from the other day! Guess who I accidentally cropped out in the first one? The hilarious and legendary Tim Meadows!! What’s your favorite Tim Meadows character?

I guess it’s true that all good things come to an end. I will miss Regis Philbin. He had me on his morning show many times. Always so personal and such a skilled interviewer. He made it look so effortless. What a run he had!

When Pearl Jam was musical guest on Saturday Night Live, April 1992, Eddie Vedder told me he used to live in San Diego and after a day of surfing he would often go to the PB Improv to watch me do stand up. Big fan of Eddie!
