I started writing on Twitter with my phone.
No laptop.
Just my phone.
But yesterday— I got myself a laptop.
And I feel so proud.
I may not have made $10k yet...
But I’m grateful for how far I’ve come.
Believe it or not.
I tweet only twice in a day.
Yet I manage to add 30-50 followers/day.
My secret?
Having an optimized profile.
Get your profile fixed.
You would stop chasing followers
And start attracting them.
Something I wished I started earlier:
Building my personal brand.
I discovered money Twitter in 2021.
But I only took it seriously in December, 2022.
Why?
I was worried about being judged.
Don't ever let your fears hold you back.
My first thread on Twitter got only 7 likes.
Logged off Twitter for 48hrs
Because It was discouraging
Then, I told my friend about it
He told me I was wasting my time
But I didn’t listen to him.
Decided to stay consistent for 2 months
And so far-- It has been worth it.
Imagine:
Two restaurants A & B.
They both offer the same food.
Have the same quality.
But restaurant B charges a higher price.
And still gets more customers than A.
Why?
People associate higher prices to higher quality.
Stop lowering your prices.
Charge your worth.
I started writing here 4 months ago...
And I used to struggle with being consistent
You know why?
I focused on likes & followers
But everything changed— when I focused on my Inputs rather than results.
If you're a beginner—Zoom out.
Focus on your inputs not on results.
My colleague at work found my account on X.
She was curious about what I did.
So I tried explaining.
But she was still lost.
Trust me.
Most people don’t know what a “creator” Is.
You’re early.
When I started writing here
I was worried about being ignored
And I was right.
I wrote into the void for months
But it was a good thing
It forced me to learn how to write well
If you’re just starting—your tweets would go nowhere
Use the time to work on your writing skills.
When I first started writing on Twitter.
I got zero engagement on my posts.
So I blamed the Algo.
But the problem was my writing sucked.
Decided to improve my writing
And my engagement skyrocketed.
If you’re a beginner don't focus on likes
Focus on improving your writing.
The best way to make sales on AUTOPILOT:
An optimized landing page.
Here's the exact blueprint I use to create landing pages for clients.
A Masterclass 🧵:
Last week —I closed a deal.
And it was 3x the pay of my 9-5 salary.
I work 45hrs/week to get paid in my job.
But I’ve only spent 4 hours on this project.
Trust me.
Don't let your job stop you from building the life you want.
The goal is to have freedom.
They lied to you.
You don't need to drop 100 comments daily to grow.
Instead focus on putting out quality content.
And building a network.
You would attract the right audience.
And grow faster.
“Copywriting is writing”
Wrong.
Copywriting is 80% pyschology & only 20% writing.
Here are 10 PSYCHOLOGICAL TRIGGERS to make you more persuasive (with live examples):
A hotel opened in my area a month ago
They have no sign board.
No social media presence.
Yet they attract a min. of 70-100 visitors per day
Their secret?
Word-of-mouth marketing.
If you own a business...
Leverage on this.
I noticed this:
The more time you spend on X
The more you sound like everyone else.
Want to create unique content?
Then consume quality.
Read books.
Watch a podcast.
Read long-form content.
Don't spend all your time here.
One of the best decision I’ve made this year:
Moving out of my family house...
And moving into my own space.
The benefit:
More time.
Less distractions.
More focus.
I would totally recommend.
One of the best advice I got as a creator:
Share your flaws.
Don't only share wins.
Why?
Reliability.
No one trust a creator with only wins.
And no losses.
Be honest about your journey.
The first sales page I wrote I charged $100.
Then the next I charged $500.
Now I’ve got a 4-figure offer.
What changed?
I leveled up my skills
Build your skills.
It makes you confident to raise your price.
Before I started writing on twitter
I spent hours watching Y.T. videos learning how to write good tweets
But guess what?
When I started I still sucked.
My writing improved when I started writing more
Proves you get better at something by taking action
Not by learning only.
I came on money Twitter and I saw:
• 15-16yrs building businesses
• Teens making 4 figures
• Creators refusing to settle for less
• People breaking out of their 9-5.
It’s hard not to be inspired by you guys.
Grateful I’m part of this tribe.
Good morning.
The first money I made online was $15.
And it was from rebranding a client’s Instagram page.
I was excited.
It made me feel like I could do more.
And that led me to start building on Twitter.
Making your “first dollar” is all you need.
It would change your mindset.
One mistake I made when I started:
Was trying to be an expert
So I shared things I knew nothing about
Guess what?
I got zero engagement
Then I realized my mistake & started sharing my journey
And my engagement skyrocketed.
Shows you people follow the guide
Not the guru.
When I started on twitter...
I would spend 1 hour to write a single tweet
And 30 minutes to edit the same tweet.
Guess what?
It would still flop.
Now It takes me only 30 minutes to create content for the whole week.
My point is — It gets easier.
It gets so noisy on Twitter.
Too many creators
Too many people trying to be an expert.
But you know what would make you stand out?
Your stories.
Share them. Everyday.
Don't think your writing is good enough?
Publish it anyway.
Give your ideas a chance
The best part?
You would get feedback
Iterate on it.
And become better.
I took a bold step.
I finally launched my offer yesterday.
Was I ready? Nope.
Was it perfect? Of course not!
But I did it anyway.
You see— I would never know if my offer is good enough except I put myself out there.
Lesson?
I’ve got a demanding day job.
I work as an intern doctor.
But I still show up for my business everyday.
How I do it?
I wake up every day at 5:30am to write.
I didn't say it's easy to do.
But I would rather not make excuses.
“Write short tweets.”
Everyone is saying this.
But trust me.
It’s never about the length of your tweets.
It’s about how you write.
Your ability to make people glued to the end.
The bottom line?
Learn copywriting.
An underrated skill every creator needs to learn:
Networking.
Learn to connect with others.
Don't be a lone wolf.
Find people going in the same direction as you
And build relationships with them.
Trust me— it's worth it.
I was stuck at 600 followers for 2 months.
And nothing I did seemed to work.
So I stopped stressing over my growth.
And focused on making friends.
Guess what?
My growth skyrocketed.
Don’t play the Twitter game alone.
Build your network.
Your growth would be faster.
Struggling to grow on Twitter?
Then, Do this:
• Post 1 inspirational tweet daily
• Post 1 actionable tweet daily
• Post 1 educational tweet daily
• Engage for 30mins
Do this everyday for 3 months.
You will definitely see results.
One of the worst advice I received on Twitter:
“Write comments to grow”
So I did.
I wrote 100 comments daily on big accounts.
The result?
Slow growth.
I changed my strategy to:
• Improving my content.
• Using storytelling.
• Sending dms.
And the result?
Faster growth.
I almost quit X.
After 2 months of posting into the void.
But I got followed by a particular account I looked up to.
Then it felt I was doing something right.
So I stayed.
Be a kind creator.
Support beginners.
Struggling to come up with content Ideas?
Don’t force it.
Try doing this instead:
Watch Y.T. videos related to your niche.
Journal your thoughts.
Then allow your mind to do the work.
Trust me.
You would be overflowing with ideas.
Lately I've found Twitter boring.
Why?
I see creators:
• Hoping on latest trends.
• Using templates.
• Rephrasing viral content.
But guess what?
It's easier than ever to stand out:
• Be authentic.
• Lean into your personality.
Stop trying to fit in.
And be you.
Sometimes I like a tweet without reading it.
And I know you do it too.
Why?
You want to be supportive.
Proves it's never about the content or the hook.
But about the person behind it.
Lesson?
Build fans.
My content strategy used to be:
• Platitudes
• Copywriting Tips
• Motivational
The Results?
Zero leads.
Then I shifted my strategy to:
• Competence tweets
• “ How I ” tweets &
• Value.
The result?
More inbound leads.
Your problem could be your content.
Go fix it.
My Twitter funnel Strategy in 7 steps:
1. Person clicks on my profile
2. Follows me
3. Warms up with my content.
4. Sees landing page in bio. Clicks on it
5. Finds the solution to their problem
6. Books a call &
7. Pays for my service.
It can't get easier than this.
One mistake I made when I started was:
Not sharing my story.
I was worried about being judged.
So I only gave value
But then I realized— your stories make you stand out & attract fans.
So don't be afraid of sharing yours.
3 months ago I struggled to show up here.
Why?
I focused on:
• Getting likes &
• Followers
Twitter become fun when I focused on:
• Making friends
• Building a tribe
• Stacking skills.
Stop focusing on what you can't control.
And start focusing on what you can.
When I started writing on Twitter.
My tweets got zero engagement.
And you know what?
I’m glad it did.
It forced me to learn how to write well.
If you’re a newbie here focus on improving your writing.
Not on likes & followers.
Money Twitter (X) has changed.
I see value contents getting less likes.
And personality tweets taking over.
Don't complain.
Instead switch.
Write More “How-I content” & Less “how-to content.”
Keep testing your content.
Find out what works & double down on it.
Sometimes I don't know what to tweet...
So I open a note on my phone
And then I start writing
About anything at all.
Anything.
And then boom — My mind start flowing with ideas.
This is how I kill writer's block.
You should try It too.
I spent the last 7 months stacking skills.
I’ve learnt:
• Landing page design.
• Offer creation.
• Email marketing.
• Funnel building.
I don’t have it all figured out yet.
But I’m grateful for the knowledge I gained.
Build your skills.
It would pay off.
I just got a 9-5 job as an intern doctor...
This means it's going to be harder to show up here.
But I’m up for the challenge.
My plan is to leverage on my Job
And use it to sponsor my business.
Being an entrepreneur is tough.
Sometimes you think you’ve it all figured out.
And sometimes you don't.
The secret to remain consistent?
Focus on your inputs.
Detach from results.
Play the long game.
I did this mistake when I started:
I listened to every advice from the big accounts.
The result?
I was overwhelmed & confused.
Don't fall for the trap.
Find out what works for you.
And carve your own path.
Copywriting isn’t about writing.
Copywriting is about understanding:
• Human psychology
• Persuasion
• Emotions &
• Beliefs
So get this…
Being a good writer won’t make you a good copywriter.
Building on X won't be my only focus in 2024.
I would be going harder on other platforms:
Linkedln.
Instagram.
Why?
X is great. But not enough.
Don't stay stuck on X.
Try other platforms out.
When writing your copy...
Think of the emotions you want your readers to feel:
• Happy
• Angry
• Afraid or
• Jealous
If you can appeal to your readers emotions
Your copy is guaranteed to sell.
The best part of building on twitter?
It's not the money you earn.
It's not the skills you learn.
It's the opportunity you get to network with great minds.
Building connections with such great minds here...
Forces you to break your limiting-beliefs.
Twitter is noisier than ever.
Too many creators
Too many people trying to be an expert.
But you know what would make you stand out?
Your stories.
Share them. Everyday.
Hey.
Listen up.
When you feel stuck on your journey
Don't take a break & come back to it
Go harder.
You win the game by staying consistent.
Good morning.
Sometimes I do this when I need to think.
I spend time alone:
With no phone.
No music.
Nothing.
And the result?
• Clarity.
• Calmness.
• Crazy Ideas.
You should try it.
The reason creators struggle to monetize?
They lack fundamental skills.
Learn:
• Copywriting.
• Offer creation.
• Sales-closing.
• Funnel-building.
• Psychology.
Focus on learning the basics.
And the results would follow.
Getting less engagement on your tweets?
Don't worry.
It's everywhere.
But guess what?
Now is the time to focus on:
• Improving your skills.
• Building your network.
• Growing your mail list.
Do you agree with me?
I started building a personal brand on Linkedln.
And the reason?
I got too comfortable with X.
I’ve got zero idea how the platform works.
But watch me figure it out.
Step out of your comfort zone.
Try something challenging.
So this happened to me:
I once had a prospect reach out to work with me
He asked for my price.
I wasn't confident & gave him a price (< $100)
He declined.
Why?
He felt I wasn't good enough.
Lesson— Lowering your price reduces the perceived value of your offer.
For the past 2 weeks...
I’ve been getting less than 5 hrs of sleep.
Why?
I got busy with work.
But I noticed I became:
Less productive.
And always sleepy.
Don't be like me.
Prioritize your health.
I noticed this:
Most people would buy from you…
Not because of your product.
Or your offer.
But because they like you.
And they trust you.
Become an attractive character.
You don't need clients.
You need clarity.
Clarity on:
• Your offer.
• Your Ideal avatar.
• Your content strategy.
Focus on getting clarity.
And the clients would come.
Building a business can be challenging.
Sometimes you think you’ve it all figured out.
And sometimes you don't.
But don't let that discourage you.
It's okay to make mistakes
No one has it all figured out at the start.
So just keep building.
You got this.
I work a 9-5 (mon-sat).
No shift.
But I still show up here.
My secret?
I batch-create my content.
I use my weekend to plan my content ahead.
So — If you’re struggling to show up here...
Batch create your content.
And schedule it.
If you’re a beginner creator just starting:
Focus less on:
• Gaining followers
• Getting likes &
• Growth hacks
And start focusing on learning:
• How to write clearly
• Persuasion &
• Storytelling
Learn the fundamentals first.
And the results will follow.
Since I started this account...
I’ve changed my niche 3 times.
Before I focused on:
• Audience building &
• Personal branding
Now I’m focused on copywriting.
And you know what?
It's all part of the game.
Just follow your curiosity
You would figure things out as you go.
I started out with a $100 offer.
Then next I charged $500.
Now I have a 4-figure offer.
Trust me.
You don’t start out making it big.
You can start small.
Then gradually scale.
The best way to build authority here?
Switch your content from:
“How-To“ to “How I”
Stop telling people what to do...
Start showing how you did it.
You would attract more quality followers.
And build your credibility.
My Twitter growth skyrocketed...
When I stopped listening to what the Gurus said
And started carving my own path.
Listen—You don't have to accept everything your “favourite Guru” says.
Find what works for you.
And create your own path.
You would be unstoppable.
Last week — I got a DM from a prospect.
He asked if I offered coaching.
But I don't.
So I referred him to another creator.
A friend who had a coaching offer.
Build relationships.
It pays.
Don't have content ideas?
Get on YouTube.
Watch 2-3 videos related to your niche.
Take notes.
Then let your mind do the work.
Trust me.
You would be overflowing with ideas.
Give it a try.
Stop trying to always go viral.
And start focusing on:
• Genuinely helping others.
• Giving value.
• Changing lives.
Do this.
And you build a tribe.
Not followers.
The most powerful marketing weapon:
Storytelling.
Here's a simple framework you can use:
• This was my problem
• This was why it sucked
• Here's how I solved it
• Here’s how I can help you solve it.
A copy with great story is guaranteed to sell.
I've officially left my 9-5 job.
My 3-month plan?
Grow my email list to 1500 subs.
Hit my first 10k/m.
No distractions.
I’m gonna only focus on building my brand.
Welcome to my journey.
I spent my whole weekend off Twitter.
And it's the best decision I ever made.
Here's why:
• Got a well-deserved rest
• Got clarity on my business.
• Pumped & ready for the new week.
If you’re struggling with clarity...
It's okay to take a break from Twitter.
The best way to learn copywriting?
Study the greats.
And I’ve spent 4hrs curating the best sales pages, sales letter & copies for you.
You can steal them all here ( & build a personal swipe file):
🧵
I noticed this..
I come up with the best content ideas when I’m doing random activities:
• House chores
• Bathing
• Walking
And not when I actually sit to write.
Does this happen to anyone else👀?
Last month…
An agency reached out to work with me.
(Not on twitter though).
All I did was show my twitter account.
And I became their best choice.
Your personal brand can serve as social proof.
Build it right.
Building an audience isn’t enough.
An audience only offers you opportunity.
But to be able to monetize your audience.
You need to learn these skills:
• Sales.
• Funnel building.
• Email marketing.
• Offer creation.
Be a full-stack creator.
Last week— I was stressing over a tweet.
I thought it would flop.
But I posted it anyway.
Guess what?
It became my best peforming post of the week.
Stop overthinking your tweets.
Just hit publish.
The reason you’re not getting inbound leads?
You are only writing value posts.
Do these instead.
Share your:
• Stories.
• Insights.
• Opinions.
And you would get better results.
Surround yourself with people who:
Build
Create
Serve others
Think long term
Learn relentlessly
Find people going up the same mountain & climb together.
Good morning
The best way to get unique content ideas:
Get off twitter.
Go do something hard.
Get results.
Come back here to share it.
The best content ideas is lived.
Not created.
I’ve got a confession.
I’ve been focusing on building my brand & monetization.
Instead of building my skills.
Don’t be like me.
• Buy the Course
• Read the book.
• Invest in a mentor.
Don't be afraid to level up your skill.
Content hooks are overrated.
Personal brand is what matters.
People engage with your content because they know you.
And like you.
The lesson?
Build a tribe.
Imagine you 6 months from now:
• You are in the best shape.
• You have a thriving business
• You are healthy & happy.
Just imagine...
But the only way you can make all that happen is to take action now.
So stop dreaming. Do.
Good morning.
You won't get 100 likes on every post you make.
And that's fine.
Some posts would do well.
Some won't.
So don't beat yourself over a failed post.
Just keep going.
One of the best part of having a 9-5 job?
It saves you from being desperate
And accepting whatever you get offered.
Trust me.
Don't quit your 9-5 job if you’ve got no plans.
Instead:
Use your 9-5 to fund your dreams.
I only joined money Twitter to start a business
But since I joined I’ve :
• Started journaling
• Eating healthy
• Taking my workout session serious
• Building great connections.
You guys are a positive influence
And I’m happy to be part of this tribe.
Good morning❤️
3 months ago, I had:
• Zero knowledge of money Twitter.
• Zero knowledge of copywriting.
• Poor writing skills
Me now:
• Constantly improving my copy skills.
• Built an audience of 800 followers
• Launching a newsletter soon.
Allowing yourself to learn = Growth.
The most important skill every creator needs to learn:
Networking.
Learn to connect with others:
• Send genuine Dms.
• Hop on calls.
• Ask questions
Find people going in the same direction as you
And build relationship with them.
I was struggling with clarity.
So instead of forcing things.
I took a break.
I spent 24hrs off social media:
• Spent time with family
• Reflected on my strategies
• Read fiction.
And the best part?
I am back with fresh ideas.
Don't fall into the trap of grinding 24/7.
My first few months on twitter were tough.
I had slow growth
And zero engagements.
Why?
I was trying to be like everyone.
Everything changed when I stopped trying to be others.
And started sharing my story.
If you want to stand out— Share your story.
No one can be YOU.
Before I came on twitter I was told:
if you wanted to learn a skill
Disappear for 6 months
And practice in private
But coming on Twitter. My opinion changed.
If you want to master a skill (fast):
Build in public.
I’ve been doing this for 4 months
And it's been worth it.
