With
@Ravens
creating cap room, some of it could be earmarked for a WR. We heard they reached out to SF about Deebo availability (that's a no, at least for now) and are watching Chargers WR situation closely (1 getting cut or traded). They obviously need edge help also
Bills have a $40M-plus a year QB and will pay Diggs more money in 2022 ($24m) than the Ravens will pay Lamar. Bills are over $30M over cap in payroll and Ravens $21M under in cash spend. Who's trying to win a Super Bowl?
Several agents are giving Lamar Jackson major credit for the deal he negotiated. $156M practical guar at signing. Another $29M for injury in 26 that converts to full guarantee in 25.
Cash flow:
Y1 $80M
Y2 $112.5M
Y3 $156M
Y4 $208M
Y5 $260M
"Strong ass deal" as 1 agent put it
The Ngakoue trade not working out for
#RavensFlock
Lowest snap percentage yet, less than 33 % Sun. Now a third-down/designated pass rush guy, who is getting limited pressures and no sacks and not helping special teams. Board and Ferguson with near identical snap counts. Yikes
We have been telling you guys for 2 weeks about the transformation of the
@Ravens
offense. They are nowhere close to running for 3000 yards but might throw for 5000. As Eddie Vedder once said: "It's evolution, baby!"
Colton Cowser lifted from
@NorfolkTides
game in 8th inning in a tie game with chance to drive in go-ahead run.
#Birdland
hoping this is to allow him to get a jump on the drive down 81/83 from Scranton to Baltimore to join the
@Orioles
tomorrow
I'm all about defending Lamar but just an awful game from him today. Play calling was far from stellar but today is on Lamar. His first two interceptions resulted in 14 points and his first half fumble cost them at least three. Hope he learns from this
Story of the night. Hollywood wide open for a touchdown but Huntley over throws him. Not going to kill Huntley he wasn't expecting to play and he's a rookie but tonight just isn't Ravens night
Not only are the Ravens getting a good scheme fit in Calais Campbell but the Baltimore community also gets the 2020 Walter Payton Man of the Year. He won on his 3rd WP MOTY nomination of his career. Impressive on and off the field.
Welcome to Baltimore
@CalaisCampbell
!
The
@Orioles
have pitching payroll under $7M; Matt Harvey at $1m and everyone else between $500-600K. Avg teams spends 25% of payroll on pitching per
@spotrac
. They spend 12.6%. Better change in '22. Better sign 2 starters at $5-10M and a solid relief arm. Must learn from this
Biggest win of season. Get that sweep tomorrow. Gigante closes it out. Roughned redeems. Vavra is am engine and Adley is gonna be an MVP finalist. This team is special
So much crying out of the Bronx. And so much losing this weekend and so much swing and miss from big boy. That team ain't getting past the Astros. Again
Awesome fight from the Birds. Magical season
