This week we are installing Vape Detectors in some of our high school bathrooms. Similar to a smoke detector, the device has sensors that can detect vaping substances in the air. Vaping is a huge concern and we must continue to educate our students and parents about the dangers.
The Hilliard School District is asking our students and staff to wear blue on Monday, Feb 12 in memory of Westerville Police Officers Eric Joering and Anthony Morelli. Our hearts go out to their families and all law enforcement.
Students can come to any Hilliard school between 10:00 - 1:00 to grab a lunch today. Parents can not pick up the lunch for the students, the child must be present. It doesn't matter which school you go to, just go to the closest school. Please help us share this message!
The Hilliard City School District will have an early dismissal on Friday, Jan 12, 2018. We will dismiss at 12:30pm for High School and Middle Schools and 1:30pm for Elementary schools. No afternoon kindergarten and no afternoon SACC. All after school activities are canceled.

Tonight at 8:20pm we will join districts around the state and light up our stadiums for 20 minutes to show respect for our seniors and all they've given up during this crisis. (Remember our HS stadiums remain closed.)

We will be closed for students March 16 through April 3 2020. Staff reports on March 16, 2020 for PD. All athletic and extra-curricular activities are canceled until Friday, April 3, 2020 when we will reevaluate. SACC will be closed during this time. More details will be coming.
After consultation with legal counsel we will return high school athletic and band programs to Phase 1 on Friday, July 31. Golf and Tennis will follow the Ohio Department of Health Requirements for each sport.

We can not thank our first responders enough for always being here for our students. They were at all three diploma pickups, all day long. It means a lot to our district and families to have had you celebrate with us.
