So have I got this right ? To obtain herd immunity we all get the virus ? and then we don't have to worry about getting the virus? Least of all those that have died ? And that is the government's plan ? Is this about reducing the pensions payout ?

@nemoloris In the 80's I drove 2 hrs Sheffield to Malvern with 3 bands, unloaded the equipment & everyone tuned instruments. I was to perform poems between bands. Not one person turned up. One of the bands was Pulp. When we got back to Sheffield someone had stolen the wheels off my car. hx

I swear that I will pay true allegiance to a country where every child is born with equality of opportunity & is valued no more & no less that anyone else & that no-one is barred from the highest position in the land or guaranteed a higher status due merely to their bloodline

I'll never wear a onesie I'll never wear crocs tank tops, flip flops sandals with socks If you see with dungarees kill me, please A puffa jacket is in that bracket but a covering for my face is ace & makes the chances greater, that later someone won't be wearing a ventilator

Bejamin Zephaniah has died age 65. He was a lovely bloke & one of the greatest poets of our generation. I was lucky enough to gig with him in my early days & like many was inspired by him.

Not quite as dangerous as the enticingly named Witches Hat. At full pelt it could maim and mangle or fling a small child several yards. Metal with wooden footplate, no soft tarmac underneath. I loved it.

I'm doing a FREE gig at EVERY Nottinghamshire Library during April and May check out @NottsLibraries . That's 60 Libraries. I don't think it's ever been done before. Each event will be 60 mins and include a guest poet from Notts and a poem read from up to 3 people in the audience

Mother's Day can be very different for lots of people. My severely autistic son, Johnny has a very different relationship to his mother than perhaps most 26 year old sons. Here's a poem for similar mums of special need kids today. This old photo of J & his mum makes me smile
