Another "cars bad" person for me to ask and get no answer from. How do we get from where we are with cars to where you want to be? How do we convert our current cities into a careless utopias? I'll hang up and listen.

That doesn't answer what ask. With current city layouts how do we get there? You're asking for a complete redesign of current infrastructure. How do we do it?

maybe instead of spending $7 billion to add another lane on the freeway we invest that money to make our streets safer for everyone

With populations decreasing we're not designing cities. We have the cities we're going to have.
Limiting size and weight just harms the poor, as many use trucks for work.
The video shows someone likely drunk - not a driving test issue, nor a speed issue. They're driving slow.
