It’s amazing to think the platform Doc streams on doesn’t support him one bit.
No follow, zero communication, absolutely no love.
The impact we’ve had on YouTube streaming growth is insane.
We’ve been taken advantage of…. Jesus YouTube, show some respect.
The scope of EFT from an online, pvp design perspective is so impressive.
It has one of the most thought out progression systems I’ve seen. It’s perfectly aligned and molded into everything else from:

- Map design
- Economy

Fortnite is revolutionary on so many levels but the most overlooked reason why it’s so successful from a design/development standpoint is the second-to-second building/edit mechanic of the game.
It’s the game’s core, creating their own fun, unique skill gap.
I also think that sometime in the near future, there’ll be a BR that exists that has no RNG. I know that BR’s thrive on exploration and discovery as part of the experience but in a sense I think we’re past that feeling.
Predicted circles, set loot, progression awarded by skill.
If I were a developer, I’d have a team dedicated to creating prototypes that focus on new responsive mechanics that lead to deeper decision making within the second-to-second gameplay.
