My brother tested + for covid today. Took 2 tests to be sure. Watched him do the 2nd, sample line lit up immediately. Did a teleheath with his doctor. Doctor called both Binax tests "false positives" because the control line wasn't as bright. Wouldn't prescribe pax. He has asthma

@vet_dot I'm sorry, that's ridiculous. I had mine two weeks ago. Anesthesiologist was all about me keeping my N95 on with the EtCo2/O2 cannula underneath it. He & the gastro were the only 2 wearing N95- also the only 2 on team that hadn't had covid yet... Go figure.

But were ok with people over 6ft apart being unmasked- all off of CDC guidelines. Had to educate them on aerosol spread.
