Having read a certain @guardian article I felt compelled to share my truly awful walk along the Cornish coast in winter. I don't know what made me do it 😆 Depressed dogs everywhere, even the seals were miserable. Feel free to share your images of how much #Cornwall sucks 🙄😏

On this day in 1981 these 8 men, all sons of Mousehole, made the ultimate sacrifice. They went out into the dark in towering seas to save the lives of others, strangers they didn't know. 41 yrs later we remember their unbelievable courage, heroes every single one. @penleelifeboat

I'd like to clarify my position after one very shouty individual's comments. I am NOT talking about tractors, combines or indeed any farm vehicles. I mean those who buy a huge 4x4 as a status thing to drive around town then come to Cornwall and can't reverse. I live on a farm.

Just read an article that excitedly told readers that 130 homes on a new estate near Hayle would be 'affordable' - out of the 1500 homes planned!!! So 8%! Given the housing crisis wouldn't it be an idea to make ALL new homes affordable to the people who actually live here!?!🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

I returned to a favourite place a few days ago - Droskyn Point. These amazing mining galleries were first used back in the Bronze Age some 4000 yrs ago. You can still see miners' tool marks to this days! Incredible spot, find out more #Cornwall

Cleo, the little black cat, decided to leave us yesterday peacefully in her sleep. She was very elderly and slightly bonkers but spoilt rotten with clotted cream, bacon & cheese. She never caught a mouse in her life, so basically a rubbish farm cat but we loved her little ways 😊

I have crossed the Cornish border many times. By car and by train, on big bridges and small. But I realised that I have never actually crossed it on foot. So I set out to Marsland Mouth to change that. #Cornwall

Took the folks down west for the afternoon, we climbed Chapel Carn Brea, not bad going as Dad is nearly 83, and then I took him to a standing stone he had never seen before. Trelew. He was suitable impressed! #Cornwall

Today's old Cornish postcard is Market Jew Street in Penzance. c1900. I LOVE this image! I love the donkeys and the outfits. I love how little its changed, that you could teleport me there and I'd still be at home. I love the small lad staring at the camera! #Cornwall

Very sadly we had to say goodbye to Charlie boy for the last time today. We tried for 3 weeks to do all that we could but it wasn't fair anymore to ask him to stay. I will miss that silent hard stare of his but I really hope he's dreaming to chasing rabbits.😥

I don't really speak about it but I suffer with anxiety, new things/changes stress me no end. Worse since covid. I've become very adept at covering it up, smiling & looking like I know what I'm doing. I've a big wkend ahead, I'm sure it will be wonderful but I'm full of worries.
