The University of Minnesota Duluth men's hockey team has defeated Notre Dame 2-1 tonight in St. Paul to claim the Bulldogs' second national title.

UMD beat Ohio State 2-1 tonight in the Frozen Four semifinals in St. Paul, and will face either Michigan or Notre Dame in Saturday's final.

Eagan's Dakotah Lindwurm became the first Minnesota woman to win Grandma's Marathon since 1987, winning the women's elite title on Saturday in 2 hours, 29 minutes, 4 seconds.
