Safe schools was the main issue in my election platform. I will advocate to ensure it is the number one priority of the TDSB. I will value the opinions of ALL students, parents and staff, and work with community groups including Toronto Police to ensure Toronto schools are safe.

I am deeply concerned TDSB staff are not properly trained in safey procedures. All staff should be trained in Lockdown Procedures. All administrators should be trained in Threat Assessment. A plan to properly train staff must be developed immediately.
