I knew the wind would play a role in this game, but I underestimated just how much. Gavin Lux's reaction on the final out said it all. He's a professional ballplayer who has hit countless home runs in his life. He knows what a home run feels like off the bat. Got robbed by wind.

The Dodgers are chuckling at everyone saying $700 million is too much money. They're getting Japan's Michael Jordan. They'll recoup that money so fast through other revenue streams it'll make your head spin. Another aspect too: NPV of the deal if the majority of it is deferred

I find it hilarious how people think Gavin Lux is cooked. He's coming off a major injury and quite obviously is having mental issues defensively. He's still young and has talent. Should be given every opportunity to figure it out.

Never forget that Gavin Lux was given a future grade on his power of 70 by multiple outlets. He hasn't shown it yet, but he just turned 25. I think he's a good bet to figure it out quickly. Too much talent there to not, imo.
