So proud of our kids! The 9 month journey of a team brings a lot of ups and downs, but this group weathered all the storms. The last two weeks have been nothing short of incredible. Energy, effort, and love can beat all odds. What a ride ๐Ÿ’š

As a player, assistant coach, and now head coach at the @NJCAA level, I have witnessed many lives be changed from 1 or 2 years at a juco. Many on the outside struggle to understand it, but those on the inside know there is truly nothing else like it. #NJCAADay #JUCOproduct

Athletes, I promise itโ€™s so much more important to make a decision based on a school and a program!! DIVISIONS are the least likely factor in you succeeding and being happy. Itโ€™s the biggest misconception in recruiting- do your research.

Life isnโ€™t fair. Adversity is a struggle. The ball sometimes doesnโ€™t bounce your way. It sucks. But donโ€™t give up. The best results can come from the most challenging times, whatever they may be. You eventually get to write your own ending to every story. Win the fight.

I once told a coach that was recruiting me, โ€œnoโ€- went to their rival school and played 2 yrs against her. 6 yrs later, that same coach met me at the gate with a gift and note for my first game as a head coach. Much respect, @JanaeShirley ! Thanks for the first class hospitality!

๐ŸšจFall update ๐Ÿšจ Uncommitted sophomore pitcher Jaycie Hall has thrown 21 straight scoreless innings vs. 4 year schools. A&M Texarkana- 9 Kโ€™s UTD- 9 Kโ€™s TWU- 15 Kโ€™s She also won 27 games last year to finish tied for 2nd in the country in most wins.

One of my favorite recognitions of the year is our alumni awards. 1 of 2 alumni of the year - Shelby Shelton - took her team to the NJCAA national tournament finishing 6th , earning single season win record at PJC with 39 and first ever national ranking! Very proud of you Shelby.
