I miss you so much Ma!!! Im so happy Kyrie got to kiss you before you left us for those gates! This is the hardest thing I’ve ever faced in life but you made it through 91 years! Slept in the same bedroom til i was 25 years old. We forever have our day, April 1st. I love you!!!

Yep!! Bankrupted that chapter of the KKK for 7 million. Street named after him where it happened. Right around the corner from where I grew up.
A college coach hit me up and said he was looking for a sleeper. Then i send him the video of the kid and he follows by asking me “Who’s all recruiting him?” Boy was I confused. 🥴
Please stop trying to throw your below average basketball players off on juco coaches. It shows your ignorance for that level. They barely play for you, what makes you think they should be playing college basketball?
John “JP” Petty is averaging almost 17 points and over 7 rebs while shooting 50% from three showing an improved confidence while making shots off the catch and bounce. His skill set is there. Under appreciated athlete. He should be on draft boards.

Thanks for being understanding. It was the last recorded lynching in the United States. We have a street named after him where it took place.
Having a travel team alone doesn’t get your kids offers and playing travel ball alone doesn’t get you recruited. Talent, relationships and the right events are all major factors.
Why I respect/love JUCO so much:
• I played JUCO ball
• The Coaches and players grind
• The Coaches will Recruit a players fro anywhere
• There are no star ratings involved
• Genuine level of ball
@Bamaboymeon02
Easy for a white man to say. Y’all always want us to forget about what happened and this happened right around the corner from my house where I grew up. You sir are the problem!!
I think some D1 basketball programs could be better if they developed a relationship with their local/closest juco. You can help place kids their, advise each other as coaches as well as growing basketball in your area. Win, win situation.
Both Faulkner and Stillman have made it to the NAIA Round of 16!!! There’s a chance they can play each other again in the final four. We are having a good year in college hoops here in Alabama.
Really appreciate the opportunity from
@CoachEager
!! I will still do my part in servicing kids from the southeast within my limitations. The brand isn’t dead, my brother
@Fjohns0981
is clearly still working and helping kids from everywhere.
College coaches know about kids in Alabama & Mississippi but are afraid to touch them because the kids names aren’t plastered over the main stream scouting services.
Wanna congratulate Dylan McLean on his commitment to Alabama A&M. He’s not big on social media. The Bulldogs are getting one of the best shooters in the country, a gym rat and a great person. He and Forte…round 2!!!
FAMU y’all need to chill with the hate, real talk. We, LeFlore, have played on ESPN more than y’all. Lol. Probably got more pros than y’all too 😂. We play homage to the orange & green and our Rattler pride but when it come to Basketball, y’all need to pay homage to us!
🅰️ I played at an Alabama JUCO
🅰️ Graduated from an Alabama JUCO
🅰️ Coach at an Alabama JUCO
🅰️ I’m going to continue to help grow Alabama JUCO
Got something brewing!
Analytical coaches say the midrange shot is the worst shot to take in the game. CP3 said shut up nerds, two of the best players to ever play made a living in that area. MJ and Kobe.
If we quit doing
@BAMAMIXTAPE
today, many will call us selfish. If we don’t rank a kid, we don’t know what we are doing. If we don’t tweet about a kid, we only talk about the same kids. If we didn’t do this, where would Basketball be in Alabama? Don’t take things for granted!
In year two, we have three guys that will be headed to the division-I level to continue their careers. You wanna get to the next level, Bishop State is the place to be!! Making history‼️
#HBCUTOHBCU
Hurricane Sally will directly hit us tomorrow morning. Although I’m not afraid, never been afraid of hurricanes, I do pray this doesn’t add to what has already been a crazy year.
I wrote this almost 5 years ago and it has come true!! I told ya more kids will have to opt juco. The saturation of travel ball, fly by night preps and covid have made my deposition a reality.
The top juco guys I’ve seen were clearly better than some of the four/five stars I’ve seen this weekend. Yes I know they’re older but not that much older.
2022 Noah Clowney 6’10” F of Team Dickerson gave us enough footage in one game and a quarter of another to see how good he is. Young (16), long, skilled, athletic, passes well and so much more.

One of my favorite players from this past weekend was 2022 Justin Morgan 6’6” SG (Team Thad). 7 threes against Nightrydas and got them off quickly. High level shooters who defend and rebound are hard to find.

Montreal Peña really showed he can stretch the floor to go along with his freakish athleticism at 6’10”. Also went length of the court with two dribbles and finished right inside the free throw line!!

If Alabama State had recruited Jaykwon Walton, Demond Robinson, Desmond Williams, Antwan Burnett, Jamari Smith (RIP), Duke Miles, Justin Bufford, etc. you can’t tell me the games wouldn’t rock! Only one ranked player on this list, all from Montgomery.
I love seeing kids pick up interest/offers during/after team camps. A lot of people have grown to think a kid can only attain such during travel ball. High school is just as important.
Hate to hear that Tavaris Jackson passed in a car accident last night. He’s the guy in our era that gave QBs from HBCU’s hope that you can make it to the NFL. Praying for his family and friends.
We have a scouting service, not a recruiting service. There’s a difference. All the work we do to help kids is actually free and from the kindness of our hearts. We are actually here to help college coaches who pay us. Just keeping it real.
Everyone on our coaching staff is a JUCO product. And we’re announcing another here soon. Just another benefit of playing here at Bishop State. We can relate to you‼️
#HBCU
I don’t mind helping you guys with recruits but a quick synopsis on Alabama. It is common for good players to be available late here. Nothing has to be wrong with the kid. Familiarize yourself with that.
I have a good relationship with every juco service in the country and I plan to keep it that way. I’m the young gun in this business and I have major respect for them all. Don’t saturate this level like many have done with travel ball. Know your place until it’s your time.
Year 1️⃣ ➡️ 26 losses, last place in conference.
Year 3️⃣ ➡️ 26 wins, first place in conference.
This type of turnaround doesn’t come easy. Good evaluations on prospective recruits, skill & mental development, discipline and just being a tough SOB in practice. WORK EVERYDAY‼️
Man I love JUCO. It’s the perfect place for athletes to reinvent themselves. Life can hit you with a lot of your journey may be delayed. Junior College can really assist with redirecting someone’s path. Players and coaches alike.
High school basketball just isn’t fun to me anymore. It’s so Hollywood now. I’m highly considering covering juco full time and leaving high school alone.
My eyes must be different cause some cats that were getting it done haven’t picked up any offers while some cats who stunk it up are getting some. I don’t like when y’all don’t keep it real.
If the D1 option is not available, just go D2/NAIA if you have the option to. Eventually there will be so many high level guys at those levels, to the point where that level will gain more exposure and tv time.
This area is overlooked a lot when it comes to basketball but there’s a current NBA player in each state from the gulf coast area. D Book, Big Cuz and Mitchell Robinson.
If you call/text my phone between 8-10pm and it’s not a life/death situation, excuse yourself from my life forever!!! If you in jail, I’ll come get you out tomorrow, you probably deserved it.
#TheLastDance
6’8” Galen Smith is looking for a home. Will have two years to play!! Highly skilled, good pedigree and athletic! Averaged 13 and 9 and was Newcomer of the Year last year. Brother of
@ToluSmith1
so you know they work hard!!!
Last time saying this. If you plan on going juco, might wanna go ahead and make that decision. Summer sessions start at the end of this month for some of us. We will also be playing next month in front 200+ four years.
And Basketball in Mississippi is so good!! I have a new found respect. State is loaded from top to bottom. College coaches know it but major scouting services...they don’t bother to care.
I think Dalano Banton of Western Kentucky will be on draft boards pretty soon. 6’8 PG. Shoots it well, handles and creates. Rebounds as well. Only a Frosh at that.
What I love about juco ball is a complete unknown coming out of high school can develop into one hell of a player and pass many that were ahead of him/her.
Eduardo Placer is one of the best guards in the c/o 2023 that I’ve seen this travel season. A magician in ball screens, he’s a Manu Ginobili clone when it comes to scoring and Greivis Vasquez when operating in ball screens.
