I’m heartbroken to share news that my darling mum passed away this morning. She made me the man I am and I feel cut adrift now she’s gone. Rest in peace mum, you were the best xxx
Good news from Joy in Carnon Downs in Cornwall - her crocheted

My beloved Mum died in April
Since then I’ve longed for a sign she is looking over me.
Last night I dreamt about her for the first time and we were hugging each other. I could feel the pressure from the squeeze from her arms.
It woke me up and I discovered I’d been crying too.❤️
Good morning

!
It’s happy anniversary today for me and my cat Sula.
Three years to the day she let me make me her Dad.
This was us just 20 minutes after she moved in.
Thank you
@CatsProtection
for looking after her beforehand 🐾
Twelve months ago I was in the midst of one of the worst periods of my life. Almost a year on I’m proof positive there is light at the end of the

tunnel. Be kind to yourself and always be there for others in crisis

A difficult morning for us all in
#BBCLocalRadio
as we begin to digest what our future will look like.
One thing won’t change - putting our listeners at heart of everything we do. Thank you for your love and support.
I couldn’t have done today without my Queue Buddies.
We’ve now got a what’s app group called LISQ and plan to meet up again for The Coronation if not before.
Some of them will be on
@BBCCornwall
with me on Monday morning

Morning - it’s exactly a year since this little lady moved in to my life. Here she is on Day 1. What a character she’s proved to be
@CatsProtection
My mum has been in
@WorcsAcuteNHS
Royal Hospital since Saturday. She’s very poorly, alone and I feel utterly helpless but I’m so grateful for the wonderful Patient Relations Team who’ve been arranging FaceTime calls and keeping me updated 🙏
Morning - it’s anniversary day at Churchfield Towers. Two years ago today this little lady came into my life via

Check out the strange shapes that have appears off the shore at

Their modern look is designed to help marine life colonise them more quickly.
I rather like the space age look of them.
I’ve reached the ‘first’ of one of those moments.
Today my darling mum would have been 77.
Since she left me in April I have felt very different.
She was my rock and without her, life has felt a little more uncertain.
Gone but never, ever forgotten ❤️

Walked to work
@BBCCornwall
this morning in the chill and this warmed my heart.
So here’s a shout out to all the amazing shop window dressers whose creativity is very much appreciated

Grief is an odd thing.
My mum died in April and I think of her often.
Then late last night, with no obvious prompt, I could not stop crying as I suddenly felt her loss more keenly than ever.
I’ve woken today feeling lonelier again but I’m okay so please don’t fret x

It’s been a while but I’m back today after some tumultuous personal changes but it’s a new month so let’s hope for brighter times x
2023 has undoubtedly been the most dreadful year of my life. As it draws to a close I’m on the brink of having to say goodbye to a dear friend who I’ve just been told may not make Christmas. How i have found the strength to carry on this year is quite beyond me.

What a day yesterday in

Got to shake The King & Queen’s hands and met lovely Louise Penberthy-Jones from the town who became my crowd buddy as we waited for Their Majesties.
@RoyalFamily
So I shook The King and Queen’s hands yesterday in St Ives.
His was a firm handshake, hers much, much softer.
🤚🏻 Who’s famous hand have you shaken?
🤚🏻 Where was it and how did you get the opportunity?
Let’s do some name droppin’ this morning on
@BBCCornwall
I’m so sad to read about
#chrisparry
- he was a remarkable human being. I interviewed him twice and on both occasions when our chats had ended he stayed on my mind days later wondering if he was still safe. He was a true hero and his selfless bravery will never be forgotten. RIP
It’s 3 weeks now since I was able to be with my other half - today he sent me these to cheer me up. Like so many other couples we’re forced to be apart right now. Yep, there were tears ❤️❤️

Ordering labels to put into my Mum’s clothes ahead of going into a care home has really brought home to me how things are changing for us 😞 and how after all these years I’m now the responsible adult in our relationship.
