The last of the 10 to die. After all the others had starved to death the guards needed the cell so they killed Kolbe with a deadly dose of carbolic acid. Calmly, Kolbe raised his arm to accept the injection. Bless his memory. I shall pay my respects at Auschwitz next year.

When was the last time you walked through 'smog' to get to a bar. You haven't have you? Be honest. Where are all these people who were going to return to pubs after the ban? Never happened.
There is no need for this ban that could ruin the hospitality industry

I used to think like that but it's not 'liking' a tweet per se. It's more showing a bit of love and respect. Nobody is going to dislike a โค๏ธ

People stand in the rain - they don't dissolve. This is Labour all over. They brought in so many laws in their previous time in government that it was ridiculous.
Let people decide for themselves

I'm going but I can understand why many won't be :
Family time
Covid
No trains
8pm (please can we have another 3pm kick off soon?)
Going tonight doesn't make you a better supporter than those that just can't. And there are many.

I don't know about surface mail (if indeed how this was returned) but when I was at Postie School I was told that telegrams with bad news for families were marked with a cross by hand to let the postman know how to approach when knocking at the front door.
@TheRecord_Media
It's just words. Labour will bring in the easy laws like last time and thoroughly brass off the majority. They got in through a protest vote, the vast majority saw them as the lesser of two evils. Some show of confidence that

The agreement was to allow the news to reach all combatants. Gen. Pershing disregarded this and allowed operations to continue (for which he had to explain in the US later) There were more casualties on 11/11/18 than on 6th June 1944 in Normandy.

A suitcase that once upon a time was so full of hope for a frightened lady. This is the first time I've seen an item of luggage and a picture of it's owner together. Rest in Peace, you deserved so much better

I put on a football forum (it's not just about footie) that my phone is always off in the car as no call is that important. 2 people came back telling me they can't afford to miss business calls - can you imagine their anger if somebody phonedriving killed their kid?
@girl_tinder
I truly don't get it TG. I couldn't see the problem with going with it and seeing where it took you both. Looking too far ahead for problems that may never materialise. These opportunities don't come along every week. It'll be too late before he realises, he needs to grow up โค๏ธ

A face full of fun - Rosa would have had so much to give in her life guided by her loving parents who were taken from her at different times before she too was lost to us. So, so tragic.

had a wonderful chance to show their commitment to road safety, the safety of vulnerable road users and our environment but blew it. An awful decision made by one person, a person who felt free to make such an important decision. It wasn't even a casting vote!

All done on the back of ticket sales, tv money and sponsorship. Self-made money. I would argue United have won trophies despite having the Glazers there rather than a reliance on Russian or Saudi cash. Not having much to pay for your home ground helps too

Went to Luton once, told the lads to give a certain burger van a miss and to go one further up the road. I was always called the 'Egon Ronay of Burger Vans' after that. I couldn't shake it off, just had to take it on the chin - every other week ๐

Oh Frances this has so sickened me. I was born post-war but have read so much about the Holocaust. There are few survivors left now, but there are thousands of their families who will be shocked at this behaviour. This isn't a protest, it's selfish people trying to look pious.

Posting one victim every day for 2 years would only show 730 poor souls. It would take over 3,000 years to show a daily picture of every Auschwitz victim if that were possible.

Which also makes riding into a wind at almost every turn a distinct possibility. Cycle every day and it gets easier. But keep coming up with more excuses to run a car to the corner shop

All okay I think Frances. Every horse back safely and female Police rider okay treated with not too serious injuries. I always feel concern with using horses at these events.

We're there no Japanese spies or agents in Canada? I find that difficult to believe. What would the Canadian response have been to a major attack on home soil happened? War isn't a game
