How can anyone say lockdowns wrecked our immune systems? We could still go for walks, to the supermarket, to work, to school etc. We never had a proper lockdown so blaming a few months of not being able to go to a gym or nightclub in 2020 on you being ill now is ridiculous.

Ugh man, i just called my GP for Paxlovid and got refused because ‘it should pass within a few days’. The acute stage for my first infection was 2.5 weeks of intense vomiting and nausea. I’m only on Day 2 of this infection and it’s almost identical so far. Ffs .

Ben was depressed because of his Long Covid symptoms. Ben gets help with the depression and taught how to accept being sick. Ben did not get his Long Covid treated. This is an extremely misleading and dangerous article.

I always get so anxious when I read someone saying they suddenly became severe/bound 6+ months into their Long Covid. The fact that any morning I might wake up and be a totally different category of illness just keeps me feeling so scared.

Interesting that out of the 200+ symptoms associated with Long Covid that ‘fatigue’ always gets highlighted in these presentations, the only symptom they can push exercise for. If they highlighted the neurological, gastro issues etc they’d be ridiculed for suggesting exercise.

My family will sit in my livingroom and complain about me being sick and make me feel bad for not going to family events and then will walk right past my hundreds of @LCMEBillboards leaflets at the door and not bother lifting a single one to hand out to anyone. Lol.

Honestly we need some sort of public awareness campaign for the FDA to approve Ampligen as a treatment for Long Covid and ME/CFS. It’s existed since the 1970’s, has got people from severely bedbound back to working full time and is the quickest avenue for a drug approval that we

If we were judging the existence of chronic conditions based on our day to day interactions I’d be asking why I’ve never met anyone in my life claiming to have ‘cancer’ or ‘diabetes’. But difference is I don’t suffer from main character syndrome.
